While on assignment with the Obama presidential campaign
I was talking to Annie Leibovitz about this project.
She loved the idea.
Annie then peered over her eyeglasses, and said slowly,
"You had to pick the hardest subjects to photograph".

She was right and although it seems challenging
at times the end result of putting this together
to benefit cancer and diabetes research
is worth every exhausting moment.
